When I'm programming and want to know how a function or method really works, I write little example scripts to figure it out. The instructions in the manuals are often incomplete or written in such a complicated way that it takes hours to find simple information. And the information in discussion forums - well... They are sometimes helpful too!
(My latest “discovery” is ChatGPT. This machine is actually able to answer questions in a systematic, clear, understandable and comprehensive way that you would expect from internet resources but rarely get. Sometimes it talks garbage too, but that's only because it refers to information from the internet...)
At some point I decided to save these code snippets for future reference. And that's what you see here now. Incomplete and random, but maybe it will help some of you anyway.
So this is not about the description (I have explained some things anyway), but about the actual result of operations, i.e. what you see on the following subpages is the actual result of the respective code and the actual code that generated the result shown! (Be aware that it hence is sometimes dependend on the platform/version my server and/or your client is using!)

So here are my code snippets so far. First you have to choose the language/platform:
